Utopian Visions of the Recent Past: planning proposals as ideological criticism of the dominant establishment in the ‘60s.
The goal of the current research project was to examine how pre-existing conditions inherent in the sociopolitical system of any given society led to the formulation of utopian design proposals, and to what degree they ingrained themselves within. Following that, their influence on later urban building conversions was evaluated.
